Hi guys. Sorry I'm not a great writer (and very tired right now), but I thought I'd share a super quick post of my thoughts. Last night I had floor seat tix to see our amazing man! Sugarland cancelled due to Jennifer being put on voice rest so Jason Aldeen opened - but I didn't go to see him. (sorry Jason fans). However, Keith was as expected - amazing! [guitarist] As I said, I'm not great at reviews, I don't have the song list etc. But I can tell you he did 5 songs from Defing Gravity (Hit the ground running, sweet thing, kiss a girl, when summer comes around and if ever I could love) and a lot of great hits from his other cd's. He did mention a couple of times how nervous he was about playing his first night of this tour. [heart] There was no cat walk, but rather he walked thru the crowd, played solo on a mini stage 1/2 way back, then walked thru the crowd, back up to the stage. He played for about 1 hour, 50 minutes. Opened with "Hit the ground running", did one encore - coming back out with "Making memories of us". There wasn't a lot of talking and only a couple celebrating an anniversary were called up to the mini stage.
After the show, all of the band members were out in front of the arena entrance, in the casino, for pics, conversation and autographs.
My much anticipated night with Keith went all too fast, but was very enjoyable! I could listen to his guitar riffs forever and never get sick of them!!!!!!!!! I don't care for the short hair cut but he looked happy, healthy and seemed to enjoy being there as much as his fans did! I did steal a super quick hug as he went passed me on his way back to the stage and his shirt was soaking wet - yes!, I got 'Keith sweat' on me - LOL!! [biggrinlove] [love1]
For those of you going to shows on this tour - you're in for a treat! He just keeps getting better!!
I certainly wouldn't be insulted if anyone else does a better job reviewing this show. I just love reading other reviews and thought this time I would attempt a contribution of my own for those who didn't get to this one. [grouphug]

fan since 2003 (was krush on keith-had to change login tho)
18 shows - 9 on the floor - 6 in the 1st 10 rows! blessed & grateful!

I was also at Keith's show at Mohegan Sun last night. He did an amazing show. I don't care for the new short haircut either. We had seats in the 7th row to the stage. He came by us and I got to pat his back. I missed the guys outside the arena though didn't see them. I love the way Keith got into the crowd. Boy the place was so packed. My husband hasn't seen Keith perform in a while and he said it was the best performance he has ever seen. I totally agree. Barbann2.

I am glad you guys all had a great time - we have no notification of any tours this year (cant be greedy) so I look forward to sharing the reviews that are on the forum to experience the new music that way. Havent seen photos of the short hair yet (other than a shot on Headline Country when he got an award) - but however he is he is cute I am sure.

After all his experience its kinda funny he still gets nervous - although loosing the opening act would get his attention I am sure

Thanks again
