So proud to have been following Keith's career since late 2000 and so many road trip memories friends. I must have known in September 2001 before his Vegas show when I got my "Grand Ole Opry" shoulder tattoo that he was someday destined for this.
As a fellow fan used to tell me right before a show, or down in the mosh pit... "Nothing Else Matters."
Cherish this, make it count. We're always in your corner (even if we can't be in the sacred "circle" tonight). That little blonde boy from half way around the world with the too-big-guitar ...one of your dreams is coming true.
The first time I ever saw Keith in person was in the audience at Brad Paisley's Opry induction in February 2001 (were you taking notes? ha ha) and I am with you in spirit and through the airwaives tonight, wishing your joy!
